Accounting Level 4 (Professional Diploma)

Suitable for the learner who wish to finalise their AAT qualifications.

In this qualification you will cover higher accounting tasks including financial statements for Limited Companies, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance, as well as optional specialist units including business tax, personal tax and credit management.

    Suitable for the learner who wishes to finalise their AAT qualifications and has qualified at AAT level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting.

    Wishes to pursue a career in accounting with ACCA or CIMA or another equivalent accounting qualification.

  • How will this course be delivered?

    This course can be run during daytime or evening. Please discuss your preference with the tutor at your interview/enrolment stage.

  • How will I be assessed?

    All exams are computer based.

    The units * will be assessed as individual units taken during the year and also within the unit **.

    Please be aware that the unit ** will be on a specific date, details will be available prior to enrolment.

    All exams are marked partially by computer and partially by a human taking 6 weeks to receive results

    Learners will not be enrolled onto a course until they have met an Accounts lecturer. Interviews will offered once the application has been received.

    6 hours per week in college, plus additional hours' home study


    Tuition fees of £2,000 are payable to the college This amount can be paid either in full at the time of enrolment, by instalments or through the advanced learner loan.

    Exam fees are in the region of £300 (subject to confirmation from the AAT) payable at the same time as the tuition fees.

    AAT student member's subscription will be 12 months after initial enrolment at an approximate cost of £100.
