This qualification will prepare you for junior and entry level accounting roles. It delivers a solid foundation in finance administration - covering areas of day to day bookkeeping transactions and double entry.
Suitable for the learner who has good English and maths skills and with either limited or no experience in the bookkeeping world.
if you wish to pursue a career in bookkeeping you have the option to extend your studies to a Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping or Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting.

All exams are computer based with results notified within 24 hours.

Learners will not be enrolled onto a course until they have met an accounts lecturer. Interviews will offered once the application has been received.
6 hours per week in college, plus additional hours study at home.
Tuition fees of £400 are payable to the college. This amount can be paid either in full at the time of enrolment or by instalments.
Full or partial funding for this course maybe applicable subject to eligibility. Please enquire at interview.
Exam fees are in the region of £112 (subject to confirmation from the AAT) payable at the same time as the tuition fees.
AAT student membership fee will be payable within three weeks of starting the course at an approximate total cost of £45.
AAT student member's subscription will be 12 months after initial enrolment at an approximate cost of £45.
