In my 15 years as a Sixth-Form Teacher, I always strived to create purposeful links between education and employers.  My current role as Community Engagement Lead focuses purely on creating these links to help employers find their next apprentice or assist with placements for traineeships, work experience, curriculum links and other curriculum engagement.
