Stacey has excelled from the jump and applied her enthusiasm to every aspect of the course. The results of this are clear, she has developed a fierce arsenal of skills from the training and is already well-networked in her new workplace. Lodge have recognised Stacey’s rapid success and have high hopes for her to progress into supervision and management. Stacey said;

Stacey came to us at The Point on the first intake of the security academy back in February 2019.Stacey did the 6 weeks course and then went on to get herself a job in security at the new Primark in Birmingham. She has been working there since April 2019.Stacey has been working so hard since that date that she has now been promoted. Below is a copy of what they have said to Mercury regarding this.

Stacey has shown hard work, determination, flexibility and commitment to not only my team and operation, but to the client and the company as a whole not to mention her excellent customer service and focus, a pure asset to the team.

Whilst studying at Kidderminster College you will have access to The Point. It’s an innovative and collaborative venture led by the college in partnership with local organisations such as Worcestershire County Council, aimed at ensuring more people in the Wyre Forest area can gain employment.
It’s a one-stop shop, providing free advice and guidance to both our learners and to people seeking jobs and careers advice. The aim is to help people access the right route for them.
Support is available throughout your time at the college with applying for jobs, writing CVs and developing interview skills, as well as career planning and the importance of having a back-up plan.

A 10 week workshop which helps you to improve your basic skills and gain a qualification to show it!
This is our 6 week workshop which provides individual support to help you gain confidence and skills for job search. This includes help with CV writing, completing job searches, job applications and use of Universal Job Match.
