
Sport and Exercise Science student Ian Brookes, who returned to education aged 23, was nominated for ‘Outstanding BTEC Student of the Year’ award in the National BTEC Awards, and Ian is now continuing on his career path by achieving a place at university.
After achieving the highest grades possible with Distinctions awarded throughout, Ian was offered a place to study Sport and Exercise Science at Oxford Brookes University.
Ian said: “While coming back to college as a mature student was daunting, the support from Kidderminster College has allowed me to gain the knowledge and confidence resulting in achieving a place at university.”
