Carys Shaw (Public Services)

Carys Shaw, a Public Services student from Kidderminster College, has been offered a place at a Liverpool university.

Carys, who studied the Level 3 Uniformed Public Services course for two years, has always wanted to join the Police so she is thrilled to be accepted at Liverpool John Moores University to study Policing Studies.

Carys thanked her tutors from the Public Services course and said: “I would like to thank you for everything over the past two years, I’ve learned a lot and made a lot of really great memories! Thanks for all your help on getting me into university, the course has been brilliant and given me so many opportunities that I could never have gotten at school and will help me to move on to my future career.”

Paul Tonks, Public Services tutor, said: “I wish Carys good luck for the future, and hope she will put her experiences over the past two years to good use for chosen career. Paul also thanked Carys for her efforts during the course and hopes that she will achieve what she has always wished for with a career in the Police.
