Kidderminster College learner, Alex Johnson, won a scholarship to University after passing his entrance examinations. Alex Johnson, who studied the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Information Technology, Computing and E-systems, was granted a Merit Award by Aberystwyth University.
The Merit award includes financial assistance and an unconditional offer of a place to study Artificial Intelligence.
Tutor Tracey Lewis said: “The fact Alex has done so well shows that a vocational route can be the right one for many learners and still see them get into University. Well done Alex.”
