Fairway Accountants Limited are looking for a highly motivated and confident apprentice to join their team in Stourport. You will assist in the preparation of accounts, VAT Returns, and operation of PAYE schemes. This is a great opportunity to start your accountancy career with an established and well known company.
What will the apprentice be doing?
- Review clients’ records to ensure they are complete and correct prior to commencement of accounts preparation
- Contact client and request any missing information
- Analyse business receipts and payments using the latest accounting software
- Assist in the operation of clients’ payrolls
- Completion of clients’ VAT Returns
- Assist in general office administration
- Promote the good name of Fairway Accountants by maintaining a high standard of work and ensuring timely completion of all tasks
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- You will be required to study and attend Kidderminster College one day a week
- Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Standard
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- The company will encourage the successful apprentice to study for AAT level 4 whilst continuing their employment with Fairway Accountants
Annual wage – £10,725.00
