Opportunities for 16–24
Year Olds
For 16 to 24 year olds. You will be placed
in waged employment, and will need to
show commitment to achieving the full
apprenticeship framework over two to
four years.
For 16 to 24 year olds. You will either
have waged employment or can apply for
Education Maintenance Allowance. You will
be working towards an NVQ Level 2 over
one or two years.. |

Entry
to Employment 16-18
Entry to Employment is a course designed
to meet your individual needs. It is a mixture
of classroom based theory and practical
activities that include visits and trips, work
tasters and working in the local community.
If you are unsure of which area of work
you would like to move into and would like
some extra support with English, Maths
and employability skills then our Entry to
Employment programme may be for you.
You would also have the opportunity if
you wished to gain a qualification such
as First Aid, Food Hygiene etc. or a Level
1 qualification in Customer Service, IT,
Sport & Leisure, Care, Business Retail &
Administration, Construction, Motor Vehicle.
In our friendly and relaxed workshops you
can also learn skills that will help you live
independently. You can apply for Education
Maintenance Allowance of £30 per week.
Like the idea of a career in Mechanics or Motor Sport?
Students qualifying for the above e2e course have the option of taking the Motor Vehicle
Maintenance and Fitting course which can then lead onto an FE Motorsport qualifi cation.
