Support for local businesses - free funding available Did you know that you can receive additional support and funding for the provision of training to your employees? Available as part of the Train To Gain network (part of the Governments Solutions for Business), all local SME's* have access to: FREE! Full funding for training your staff in: Basic skills support at all levels, i.e. numeracy an literacy Level 2 Qualifications, eg NVQ Level 2 Level 3 and some Level 4 for 19-25 year olds who do not have a Level 3 (eg NVQ Level 3) There is also additional funding for people who already have qualifications at Level 3 and would like to take another. EXTRA! Additional funding support is also available for: English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) qualification (all levels) Apprenticeships Leadership and Management Development (even if you have 5-10 employees) Events and Seminars Seminars are held approximately every two months and are conveniently held from 12.00pm until 2.00pm so as not to take too much time out of the working day. Each session (which includes a buffet lunch) is designed to focus on topics affecting businesses, such as Employment Law and Health & Safety.
