Work-based learning with Kidderminster College Training is about getting you a real job in the real world, with a full wage where possible.
Opportunities exist in; Accountancy, Administration, Care, Childcare, Construction, Hairdressing, Retail, Customer Service and IT, plus the new Creative Apprenticeship.

Opportunities for 16 – 24 Year Olds
Apprenticeships
You will either have waged employment or can apply for Education Maintenance Allowance. You will be working towards an NVQ Level 2 over one or two years.
Entry to Employment for 16-18 Year Olds
This is a mixture of classroom based theory and practical activities that include visits and trips, work tasters and working in the local community. If you are unsure of which area of work you would like to move into and would like some extra support with English, Maths and employability skills then our Entry to Employment programme may be for you.
You would also have the opportunity if you wished to gain a qualification such as First Aid, Food Hygiene etc or a Level 1 qualification in Customer Service, IT, Sport & Leisure, Care, Business Retail & Admin, Construction, Motor Vehicle.
In our friendly and relaxed workshops you can also learn skills that will help you live independently. You can apply for Education Maintenance Allowance £30 per week for anyone who leaves school after 30th June 2008.
