Kidderminster
College Sports Academies
All students have the opportunity
to join and participate in the Sporting Academies
and/or activities run throughout the year at Kidderminster
College.
,
which has been running for over 7 years, has been
exceptionally successful with selected students
progressing into playing at a higher standard.
is run in conjunction
with Wharton Park Golf Club, a high quality 18-hole
golf course, situated within and surrounded by beautiful
Worcestershire countryside. Students will have the
exciting opportunity to develop their skills with
PGA qualified golf professionals.
Kidderminster College also provides opportunities
to try other sporting and leisure activities such
as netball, badminton, body pump, kick boxing and
outdoor pursuits. Traditionally Wednesday afternoons
have been allocated as a time for participating
in sport here at the College, therefore most sporting
activities/academy work will be played on this day.
