Each course has an induction. The induction should cover essential health and safety information, information about your course, the College and services available to you.

As a part-time student you have the same entitlement to access to resources such as Student Services and the Learning Resources Centre where this is practicable.

This is covered in your induction but as many courses run for a short period of time perhaps a few hours a week, the time spent on induction is reflected by this.
