Kidderminster is a town in the Wyre Forest district of Worcestershire. It is located approximately seventeen miles south-west of Birmingham city centre and approximately fifteen miles north of Worcester city centre.

Getting About

Rail Links
The main Network Rail station operated by London Midland is Kidderminster, from where trains run to Birmingham, Worcester and London.; trains run from here to Bridgnorth.

Bus Routes
There are direct bus links with towns including Worcester, Halesowen, Bewdley, Stourport and Bromsgrove. There is also a direct bus link with Birmingham city centre.

Forest Glades Leisure Centre - A stone's throw from the College, Forest Glades is an excellent multi-functional sports complex which incorporates large leisure pool with flumes & waves, squash courts, an 8 court sports hall, and a large air conditioned gym. A variety of activities and clubs are programmed which cater for the general public of all ages.

Cinema

Movie-lovers can simply take a five minute walk from the College to the town's very own cinema. 'Reel' Cinema is situated on Green Street and has all latest films showing. Plus, Student discount is available (with a valid NUS Card)!

Shopping

Situated right within the town centre, Kidderminster College is perfectly placed for shopping amenities. The town centre has been substantially redeveloped and "Weaver's Wharf" boasts an excellent range of shops and restaurants / eateries, including Café Nero, TK Maxx, Next, Marks and Spencer, Frankie & Benny's, McDonald's and Pizza Hut.
