| Kidderminster College students were challenged by the Next Step Team to a three day team building event. The event gave students from various groups across the college including Entry 2 Employment, Widening Horizons, Vocational Level 1, and Business, Retail and Administration the opportunity to work alongside trainee managers from Wincanton, helping them to complete their management qualifications and have a lot of fun at the same time!
The event, held at The Stone Manor Hotel, was an excellent chance for students to take part in problem solving and practical team activities in the beautiful surroundings of the hotels grounds. Students were able to improve communication, problem solving, confidence and team building skills with the excellent support of staff from Next Step and Wincanton.
Entry 2 Employment student Nikki Rollason said Ive had a great time and enjoyed the different team activities, some of the tasks were really difficult but we worked as a team to complete them. Everyone has been great and Ive loved being here for three days.
Mel Fowler Course Tutor at Kidderminster College added The students have had a fantastic three days and gained so much from the whole experience. It has been such a positive experience on many different levels for our learners and a great opportunity for them to work with the Next Step team and Wincanton staff who have all been incredibly supportive.
