Once again the Hairdressing and Beauty students pulled in the crowds for their annual ‘Avant Garde’ ‘Hair Show. The Level 2 Beauty students and Level 3 Hair students combined their skills and showcased the best of their work in ‘futuristic’ style.

The college foyer was transformed into a catwalk graced by models dressed in various colour schemes, whilst the College’s Production Arts / Stage Management students ensured that the accompanying sound and light show provided the atmosphere the show deserved and was nothing less than spectacular!

The show is the result of several months hard work of research and planning for the students - preparation begins at the very start of the academic year.

Course tutor, Kate Williams, commented, ‘The students never fail to surprise us with their inspiration and ideas for the show, so it truly is a delight for us all to work together as a team with our production arts students on such an important project and I’m extremely proud of all of them!’
