MAS Records & Live Events
MAS (Mighty Atom Smasher) Records is the College's independent record label, with ex-Led Zeppelin front man, Robert Plant as patron. M.A.S. Records highlights the rich musical heritage of the Midlands region, with material produced by such acclaimed producers as Joe Gibb (Stereophonics, Funeral For A Friend, Catatonia), Gavin Monaghan (Ryan Adams, Scott Matthews, Kings Of Leon) and John A. Rivers (Dead Can Dance, Ocean Colour Scene). They have also developed productive relationships with radio (BBC Hereford & Worcester, Kerrang! Radio), television (Red TV) as well as establishing other media links (Ditto Music). Events are held locally and nationally on a regular basis and are promoted throughout the College. We have also developed a formidable national reputation for Music and we have taught Music Technology for more than 20 years with one of the highest success rates in the country here at Kidderminster College which means we also put on some pretty mean ‘live’ events. Not forgetting to mention our regular shows from a very talented pool of dancers, actors and other performing artists. We certainly know how to entertain!
