HND Dance offers highly practical and intensive technical training to extend and develop performance skills. Specific contemporary techniques are studied alongside a traditional classical ballet approach and commercial techniques of Jazz and Street Dance.
Choreography is used to expand creative thinking and a variety of new digital media is available to support students own choreographic work.
An emphasis is placed on vocational training and the skills required to enter the professional world of the Performing Arts. Students will have the opportunity to undertake a work placement as well as examining the theories and practice of specific dance roles.
