Roles and Responsibilities of a Governor

To determine the educational character and mission of the College with particular emphasis on developing targets that ensure the College meets nationally set benchmarks.
To contribute to the strategic development of the College.
To ensure the financial solvency of the College.
To approve the annual budget and three year financial forecast.
To appoint and determine the pay of senior post holders.
To set the framework for the pay and other conditions of service for all staff.
To develop links with learners and staff which contribute to making the College more effective.
