Easy Steps to Enrolment

Step 1 - Decide how you want to enrol - by FREEPOST, TELEPHONE or IN PERSON

Step 2 - You will need to provide the following...

  • Full name and address
  • Date of birth
  • National Insurance Number
  • Details of any medical conditions / disabilities you may have
  • Evidence of your circumstances if you are claiming reduced fees.
  • Details of a person to contact in an emergency
  • If your employer is paying for your course and examinations you will need to provide a letter from your employer confirming this at the time of enrolment. Please ensure that the letter includes the full name and address of your employer
  • Your chosen method of payment

If you are entitled to a reduction in your fees you must enrol in person, rather than by post or by telephone.

It costs you nothing to enrol by FREEPOST. To enrol by FREEPOST, complete the postal enrolment form and enclose your payment details. You can pay by debit / credit card or by cheque. Please make cheques payable to Kidderminster College. Post to: FREEPOST DD282; Postal Enrolment, Kidderminster College, Market Street, Kidderminster, Worcester DY10 1LX. Include your name and address on the back of all cheques.

Please note that by enrolling by telephone you are automatically agreeing to abide by College Regulations.

To enrol IN PERSON come to the Learner Services in the foyer of Kidderminster College. If the course is being held at a venue other than Kidderminster College then you can enrol in person at that venue during the first session of the course. Please note that this will be on a first come first served basis.

The College is open for enrolment Monday to Friday 9 am until 5 pm. If you are keen to study a course please enrol as soon as you are able. Places on popular courses go quickly and so book your place and avoid disappointment.

What is an Apprenticeship?

An Apprenticeship is a partnership between an employer, the Apprentice and the College.

You will be EMPLOYED from day one and paid a salary, so you EARN WHILE YOU LEARN.

Apprenticeships are designed with the help of industry employers, offering an insightful structured programme that arranges activities and work to ensure you gain and develop a wide range of relevant skills within your chosen workplace.

Apprenticeships are recognised as the gold standard for work-based training. There are over 100,000 employers offering Apprenticeships in more than 160,000 locations. There are more than 200 different types of Apprenticeship available.

There are three levels of Apprenticeships:

  • Intermediate (Level 2)
  • Advanced (Level 3)
  • Higher (Level 4)

Full Time Courses

Kidderminster College places great importance on its mature learners and we have developed a range of programmes geared to your particular requirements and needs.

You will also have the opportunity to obtain GCSE equivalence for English and Maths. A GCSE qualification in Science is available for those who wish to pursue careers in teaching or nursing. You will have a personal tutor who will support you through the learning process and help you to make your application to university.
