of the Course
To prepare students for
progression to Higher Education, specialised drama
schools and/or careers in Performing Arts. To
enable students to obtain work in professional
theatre and support companies.

which enable specialists to train in various aspects
of Production including:

• Production Planning
• Technical Theatre Operations
• Lighting and Sound
• Stage Management
• Drawing Techniques
• Costume Design
• Stage Design
• Puppet Design
• Mask Making.
Jobs and careers
Employers, as well as universities and colleges,
value BTEC National Diplomas. Students will be
able to pursue careers in technical management,
design, stage management or teaching. Many previous
students have gone on to prestigious establishments
such as LIPA and Central, or are working successfully
in the industry..
Successful
Completion
Could allow progression
onto Degrees in Technology, Management or Design
applicable to all forms of performance media.
