of the Course
To be successful in popular
music requires a special dedication and a wider
knowledge of different styles and branches of
music practice. This course is built around those
aims and will broaden both the student’s
knowledge of music as well as focusing on areas
vital to personal development. It encourages students
to work both as part of a tightly knit team and
also as individuals, to create, arrange, play
and understand a wide variety of music for many
situations.

Needed:
Minimum 4 GCSEs, grade
C or higher with the preferred inclusion
of Music or an art based subject.
Interview required:
Applicants will be invited
for an interview and audition. Applications
from students with less than 4 GCSEs but previous
relevant experience will be considered sympathetically.
Mature applicants welcome.
