of the Course
To provide students with
an introduction to the vocational area of dance
or musical theatre, together with an opportunity
to improve essential and personal skills within
the Performing Arts industry.
Course Content
Core units:
• The Performing Arts Business
• Performing Arts Production Process
Students will also have the choice of the following
units:
• Understanding Dance
• Performing Dance
• Jazz Dance
• Contemporary Dance
• Musical Theatre
• Solo Musical Performance. Successful
Completion
The course will provide
a grounding which allows progress onto Level 3
Dance and musical theatre courses at the college
or in the area.
