Fast Track City & Guilds IT at Stourport Training Centre

What will I learn?

We offer IT user qualifications combined with a work skills programme at our dedicated IT centre which is conveniently located on the upper floor offices above the Tesco store on Lombard Street, Stourport-on-Severn.  The main focus of all programmes is to enable learners to gain or improve their IT skills whilst updating work related skills and therefore courses are offered at different levels.

Aimed at:

Beginners: This is ideal for those with limited to no knowledge and experience of computers and allows you to learn and develop new skills up to Level 1 in a variety of software packages including Word Processing, the Internet and E-mail, Presentation Graphics, Databases and Spreadsheets to name but a few.


Intermediate: This course seeks to provde those with a good beginners knowledge of computers with an opportunity to progress to an intermediate level and to demonstrate a sound understanding and application of skills learnt.  The course offers various units including Word Processing, the Internet and E-mail, Spreadsheets, Presentation Graphics and Desk top Publishing.

Course days: Day time and evening provision is available. Daytime is offered in two slots: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning OR Wedensday afternoon, Thursday and Friday. Evening attendance is based on two nights per week, either Monday and Wednesday OR Tuesday and Thursday.
