These courses are ideal for anyone wishing to pursue a career in the Art & Design field. Kidderminster College vocational art and design programmes are offered across a range of disciplines, including fine art, 3D, graphic design, textiles and photography. The will allow you to explore your creativity, learn new techniques and specialise in an area of your choice.

Towards Independence and Opportunity

Course Content

To provide young adults who have moderate or severe learning difficulties and/or disabilities the opportunity to gain an accredited qualification. The course aims to enable learners to: work towards independent travel, work independently and together, develop communication and social skills, promote self expression, improve the quality of learning experiences and develop work skills through supported work experience. You will work towards a range of units from the Foundation Learning Tier. Typically these may cover:



  • Creative and Performing Skills

  • Cooking

  • Self-Help Skills

  • Information Technology

  • English and Maths

  • Work Experience
