These courses are ideal for anyone wishing to pursue a career in the Art & Design field. Kidderminster College vocational art and design programmes are offered across a range of disciplines, including fine art, 3D, graphic design, textiles and photography. The will allow you to explore your creativity, learn new techniques and specialise in an area of your choice.

Course Content

This course is aimed at people with a learning disability who have a desire to improve their skills in order to move into gainful employment. It is delivered in partnership with Spokes on Stourport Road, Kidderminster. You will develop your employability skills along with your personal and social skills through a wide range of practical activities in a real work environment. Typical areas of work you will participate in are:



  • Retail

  • Office work including IT

  • Customer service

  • Practical skills in a workshop - repair, recycling

  • Maths, English and ICT

Progression routes: Other courses within college or into employment either full time or part time.
Duration: One year full time at Spokes, Stourport Road, Kidderminster.
Entry requirements: Entry Level 3 qualification and/or the ability to work at Level 1. The ability to get to an interview is required.
