Level 3 VTCT Diploma in Hairdressing NVQ
Course Content
The course covers all aspects of working in a unisex hairdressing salon. This will include:
- Creative cutting
- Advice and consultation
- Styling hair to create a variety of looks
- Style and dress long hair
- Changing hair colour
- Provide colour correction service
- Organise a hair show or photo shoot
- Promote additional products
- Monitoring the operation of Health and Safety in the salon
Functional Skills will be incorporated in the programme.
Jobs and Careers
This qualification will allow you to progress in a salon working as a Senior Stylist, become an Assessor or Teacher working in the Hairdressing industry.
