These courses are ideal for anyone wishing to pursue a career in the Art & Design field. Kidderminster College vocational art and design programmes are offered across a range of disciplines, including fine art, 3D, graphic design, textiles and photography. The will allow you to explore your creativity, learn new techniques and specialise in an area of your choice.

Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Technology, Computing and e-Systems

Course Content

The course will assist learners in developing a range of high level skills, which will prepare learners for a diverse range of careers. Learners will be able to achieve an Extended Diploma which is equivalent to three A-Levels and typically covers the following topic areas:



  • Communication and employability

  • Computer systems

  • Information systems

  • Computer networks

  • Software and hardware

  • Website production

  • Project management

  • IT systems - troubleshooting and repair

  • Multimedia

Jobs and Careers

This qualification provides the initial skills and knowledge that will enable you to progress onto Degree Level study or employment.

Entry requirements: 4 GCSEs at Grade A-C, preferably in English and Maths or an equivalent qualification.
