Level 2 VTCT Diploma in Hairdressing NVQ
Course Content
The course covers all aspects of working in a unisex hairdressing salon. This will include:
- Cutting hair using a variety of different techniques
- Advice and consultation
- Shampoo and conditioning hair
- Styling hair using a variety of drying techniques
- Setting hair using a variety of techniques
- Changing hair colour
- Permanent waving and neutralising hair
- Promoting additional products
- Supporting Health and Safety in the salon
- Giving clients a positive impression of yourself and your organisation
Functional Skills will be incorporated in the programme.
Jobs and Careers
This qualification will allow you to progress in a salon working as a Junior Stylist.
