Level 2 IMI Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Course Content
This course introduces learners to the fundamental principles of vehicle fitting technology and the aspects of routine maintenance. Learners will cover the following:
- Contribute to good housekeeping in the workplace
- Ensure your own actions reduce risks to Health and Safety
- Maintain positive working relationships
- Carry out light vehicle front wheel alignment
- Inspect and replace light vehicle:
- Exhaust system components
- Suspension dampers
- Braking systems and components
- Batteries and related components

It may be possible to gain employment in the motor industry or to continue further study.
