These courses are ideal for anyone wishing to pursue a career in the Art & Design field. Kidderminster College vocational art and design programmes are offered across a range of disciplines, including fine art, 3D, graphic design, textiles and photography. The will allow you to explore your creativity, learn new techniques and specialise in an area of your choice.

Level 2 IMI Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

Course Content

This course introduces learners to the fundamental principles of vehicle fitting technology and the aspects of routine maintenance. Learners will cover the following:



  • Contribute to good housekeeping in the workplace

  • Ensure your own actions reduce risks to Health and Safety

  • Maintain positive working relationships

  • Carry out light vehicle front wheel alignment

  • Inspect and replace light vehicle:

    • Exhaust system components

    • Suspension dampers

    • Braking systems and components

    • Batteries and related components

It may be possible to gain employment in the motor industry or to continue further study.

Entry requirements: Appropriate Level 1 Motor Vehicle qualification.
Interview required: Yes
