Performing Arts / Creative Industries - Acting, Singing, Dance & Stage

These courses are ideal for anyone wishing to pursue a career in the Art & Design field. Kidderminster College vocational art and design programmes are offered across a range of disciplines, including fine art, 3D, graphic design, textiles and photography. The will allow you to explore your creativity, learn new techniques and specialise in an area of your choice.

Level 2 Diploma in Performing Arts: Production Arts

Course Content

The course provides grounding in the technical area of the performing arts. As well as learning about the structure of the industry, learners will be engaged in learning about lighting and stage operations, set construction and sound operations for live performance. The aim of the course is to develop technical skill and achieve professional working methods in preparation for progression to level 3 courses.
