These courses are ideal for anyone wishing to pursue a career in the Art & Design field. Kidderminster College vocational art and design programmes are offered across a range of disciplines, including fine art, 3D, graphic design, textiles and photography. The will allow you to explore your creativity, learn new techniques and specialise in an area of your choice.

Level 2 BTEC Work & Employability Skills

Course Content

The course focuses on developing work and employability skills to prepare learners for the job market and include improvement of literacy, numeracy and IT skills. Content is designed to develop skills which are needed for effective job searching, interviewing, as well as self and money management. Learners will also develop leadership and problem solving skills and be required to work as a team.

Jobs and Careers

You will develop a good basic knowledge of employment skills within a range of vocational areas.

Progression routes: Could allow you to progress onto further full time courses, including Level 3 Certificate in Work & Employabilty Skills or other Level 3 qualifications within a vocational area of your interest.
Duration: One year full time.
Entry requirements: A Level 1 qualification, however applicant's levels will be determined via interview and initial assessment.
