Level 2 BTEC Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development
Course Content
The course is divided into 6 units of study, 5 mandatory and 1 optional and in addition learners have to undertake a minimum of 300 hours assessed work experience in a variety of early years settings, which will be arranged through the College. The units of study include: Child Protection, Children's Development, Play and Learning, Health and Safety, Professional Development and Preparing Safe Environments for Child Care (subject to change).
