Course Content
The course has been designed to develop and recognise learners understanding of business functions and activities. It accredits achievements in a modern, practical way that is relevant in a work context. The course provides the basic knowledge and understanding as well as a focused preparation in specified areas required in business organisations. Ideal for those who will be expected to work autonomously in carrying out business tasks, it is suitable for those seeking employment as well as those already employed who wish to further develop their skills. The course consists of three compulsory core units plus three specialist units and covers:
- Exploring business purposes
- Developing customer relations
- Investigating financial control
- Business communication
- People in organisations providing business & administrative support
Jobs and Careers
A variety of business roles, including activities within accounting, administration, customer services, finance, IT, personnel and self-employment.
